Sarj Gosal

Sarj Gosal is a BC lawyer practising in the areas of WCB claims and appeals and CPP disability appeals. He was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and obtained a Bachelors in Political Science (May 1988) and a Law Degree (LLB –May 1992) from the University of British Columbia. He was called to the Bar in May 1993.

Mr. Gosal has successfully represented a large number of disabled workers (over 3,600) and has extensive experience dealing with WCB and CPP claims and appeals.

Mr. Gosal has been qualified (and provided oral evidence) as an expert regarding Workers’ Compensation matters in the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith is a BC lawyer practising in the areas of WorkSafeBC claims and appeals and CPP disability appeals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Japanese from Smith College in 2012 and a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2015.  Ashley was called to the Bar in January 2017.

Kirsten Brokop

Kirsten Brokop is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company.  Kirsten was born and raised in Langley, B.C.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from the University of British Columbia (BA, 2012) and returned to UBC to complete her Juris Doctor (JD, 2016).  While at law school, Kirsten volunteered with the Legal Services Society, West Coast Environmental Law, and as a reader for legal texts with Crane Library for those with sight disabilities.

Kelsey Croft

Kelsey Croft is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company.  Born and raised in Delta, B.C., she was thrilled to return home to practice after attending Dalhousie Law School in historic Halifax, Nova Scotia (J.D. 2016).  While at law school, Kelsey volunteered on initiatives promoting access to justice and the advancement of women in the legal profession.  Previously, Kelsey studied Political Science and Spanish at U.B.C. (B.A. Hons. 2013).

Kelsey was called to the Bar in March 2018 and has enjoyed putting her skills to good use ever since.
